Some where under the rainbow
Jee Willi-kers, I was off visiting my wonderful new fellow in the foothills in N.C. and we were headed off to Greensboro to visit some of his friends and it had just finished raining. Well, the sun was coming out and he said look over there you will probably see a rainbow. I said, well how do you know it would be over there. He said, well the sun is over here so the way it works the rainbow would be over there, Duh, LOL. Well, low and behold there was an incredible full arch of a DOUBLE RAINBOW
right there where he said it would be
. We pulled off the road in a clearing and sat and looked at it. IT WAS AMAZING and how nice to share it with someone your very fond of
. HOW COOL IS THAT!!!!!!! I’ve been lazy about updating since after my move I’ve been high tailing it to the foot hills to spend time with my honey
. WOO HOO!!!

Rainbows essentially go around the sun, although sometimes the sun is below the horizon when you see the rainbow.
There’s another phenomenon called a glory, and it’s just like a rainbow except for two things.
The colors are in the opposite order.
It forms in the opposite direction from the sun when you are between the sun and the cloud that it’s forming in. It makes in a complete circle around your shadow.
Usually the only way to see a glory is if you’re someplace really high where you can look down on a cloud or fog.
I’m glad you have a special someone.
Awesome! I love rainbows too! I’ve seen a glory before from a plane! They are beautiful!!! Have a wonderful time in the foothills! Sounds almost like a spinners retreat!
